URWC New Building project

The 20/10 Vision

The new building project began a few years ago with the 20/10 Vision. We are now very close to beginning construction. We are in the very last stages of financing and are so excited to move forward to where God wants us.

Here are some pictures of our recent ground breaking on December 26, 2010. Also, please visit again soon as we will continue to update photos tracking the progress of our new worship facility.

Proverbs 28:19 says “Where there is no vision the people perish.” God’s vision is better than perfect (20/20) vision. He has given our church a vision to win souls and make disciples. It is our goal to be in our new facility within the year 2010.  This will allow us to reach more people and grow His vision and Kingdom even larger.

With a new facility, we will have the opportunity to host many events that our current facility can not accommodate. This will allow us to develop new relationships, as well as provide better awareness of Upper Room Worship Center. A new facility will also allow for a greater opportunity to target youth and children. Our future location is within walking distance to most of the Tipp City Schools. We would like to initiate after-school and enrichment programs, a latch-key program, a future daycare and pre-school, and many other community outreaches and service programs.

We are currently meeting with our builder to plan for our future projects. Phase one entails building a facility that will accommodate our current ministries for the next three years. However, we are already planning for future growth. Phase two consists of purchasing additional adjacent land to our property, erecting a gymnasium/multi-purpose area, and renovating the phase one building for a larger worship sanctuary. Phase three consists of constructing a state of the art children’s wing, additional administrative offices, and expanding the existing sanctuary, yet again.

Below are images of the current building plans, as well as, pictures of the future Upper Room Worship Center property located at 648 North Hyatt St., Tipp City.
